America loves its guns. Which becomes pretty clear when you watch our movies. The typical Hollywood blockbuster has three times the gun violence than it did just a couple of decades ago. All this, despite the death, destruction and trauma guns bring to our schools, movie theaters and offices every day. Still, we love seeing bullets fly on the big screen.
